They are very productive ranges, with low production costs (more controlled flowering, less pruning, homogeneous sizes for harvesting in 1 or 2 passes), late flowering to reduce the risk of crop loss due to frost, they give the producer flexibility in response to market demand, they gain colour and sugar quickly, so if the market requires fruit, it can be picked greener, and on the other hand, they hold up very well on the tree, so if the market slows down, they can be picked more slowly.
